Life, Fulfilled

This fund represents hope born from profound loss. Created by an anonymous donor whose son took his own life, the Life Fulfilled Fund addresses critical gaps in community support systems in Canterbury.

Life Fulfilled Fund

Established in 2026, this endowment fund will support charities working across the wider Christchurch region to strengthen whānau wellbeing, combat addiction, champion mental health awareness, and prevent suicide.

The fund has been established with a seed donation from a Cantabrian mother, who welcomes others passionate about this area to contribute as well.

Once the fund reaches our $100,000 distribution threshold, annual grants will be available for organisations working to build a community where every life is valued and supported.

You can honour this mother's inconceivable courage and donate today to help build a community where every life is valued and supported.

The Fund will support charities who:

  • Empower parents to be their absolute best - Supporting whānau with resources, education, and programmes that strengthen family bonds and parenting capabilities.

  • Guide people from addiction to recovery - Funding alcohol and drug rehabilitation services, peer support programmes, and innovative approaches to breaking the cycle of addiction.

  • Champion mental health awareness and support - Backing initiatives that reduce stigma, increase access to mental health services, and build community resilience.

  • Prevent suicide and provide crisis support - Supporting organisations dedicated to suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and postvention services for those affected by suicide loss.

By donating, you will help weave a stronger safety net for our most vulnerable, creating pathways from despair to hope, from isolation to connection, and from crisis to recovery.

Your contribution ensures that when someone reaches their darkest moment, there will be hands ready to lift them up and professional support to guide them towards healing.
